The Owners of Duval Pageantry System

How well do you know the owners of Duval Pageantry System?  When asked what they expected most from their current court, formers and contestants, they said...

Rick Finn

Owner, Mr. Duval & Miss Duval Closetball

"Of all that is to be expected from my kings and queens, I look for someone who is ALWAYS on top of their game, without having to be told to be on top of their game.  Whether it be promoting the system, performing across the country or just being at another event, be your best.  Too many people use the word "professionalism" too loosely, and it often gets cliched.  I'm honest, and I will address my king and queen if they are not their best, but then I'll praise them for being the best, as it will help them down the line when they want to be a part of another system."

The Lady Marissa

Owner, Miss Duval

"Queens are defined by the legacy they leave behind, not by the crowns that gleam and shine.  I see so many beautiful ladies approach the system to be among the best, but what can they contribute to Duval that shines above the rest?  A wonderful queen is a legacy all year long, not just at the beginning or at the end.  So often, people get caught up being a titleholder, they forget to BE a titleholder.  That's what I look for in a Duval lady."

Walter Fort

Owner, Miss Duval Plus

"Duval has upheld the reputation many national pageants would only dream of.  I have been fortunate to have been blessed with many graceful Plus queens, but the Plus Dynasty wouldn't be what it is without the work and dedication of each of the girls.  What I expect most from my queen, like my other fellow owners of the System, is to take Duval to a higher level... never to keep it the same or fall behind.  As Duval is a close knit family, it is also a business which requires everyone to go far and beyond to do their part.  Promote the system and be your best.  Enough said!"

Sam Woods

Owner, Mr. Duval Newcomer

"People always say "Once Duval, Always Duval!"  That's because we're so close and so supportive of each other, no matter what.  And, Duval is often the root of success of many of our kings and queens in the industry.  What I expect from my Newcomer kings is to keep growing and keep going.  Don't just accept your title and enjoy your reign.  Prove yourself and conquer!  I've seen many of my kings move on to bigger and better things, and it makes me so proud!"

Georgia Hairston

Owner, Miss Duval Newcomer

"A young lady can blossom into a talented, intelligent and beautiful woman…That’s how I see a newcomer queen…a Miss Duval Newcomer Queen.  From the time she enters the competition, work commences on preparing, motivating and encouraging her to further her career.  Duval is a strong and caring family and we learn from each other.  I would expect each queen to embrace us as we embrace her,  respect the system and reign with integrity and pride.  I envision three words that would always describe the appearance and/or performance of any Duval Newcomer Queen…  She was Fierce!!!”
